Tooth Whitening Q&A
How does BleachBright work?
Using our one size fits all double sided mouthpiece/lens, you will receive BleachBright products that are impregnated with a special whitening gel and other essential ingredients. Our spectrum s blue LED (BB Plus), with precise settings, is positioned between the upper and lower teeth. This formulation forces activation. Carbamide Peroxide and oxygen will break into water molecules and free oxygen radicals. The oxygen radicals combined with carbon-based molecules on a discolored surface make the discoloration of the teeth clear. This process will penetrate the tooth enamel but will not damage the enamel. This is referred to as a physical tooth discoloration removal at the speed of light.
How long will this process last?
6 months to two years is not unusual, but we do recommend that you now care for your newly whitened teeth with our new era formulated KeepBright Pen. Typically, we recommend pursuing another treatment in about 60-90 days.
How long does the BleachBright process take and what are the results?
Results can vary as everyone is different. The grade of your teeth and your age can affect the process, but we recommend a 20 minute treatment.
How often should I use the maintenance product, KeepBright Pen?
We recommend it as a daily maintenance and to use it especially for special events, dates, and/or engagements; anytime you are meeting with the public.
Is BleachBright safe?
Research has shown that if the teeth and gums are normal and healthy there are no adverse effects to bleaching one's teeth. People with tooth decay and with any type of gum disease should avoid this treatment. Never treat a pregnant woman; no know side effects are affirmed but it is simply a precaution. We are NOT Dentists. As explained by Dr. Doyle Williams, professor at Tufts School of Dentistry, he states "We like to protect our practices. Thers nothing dangerous with bleaching outside of dental office." Also see reference of research presented at the 83rd general Session of the IADR, March 9-12, 2005 (conclusion of clinical trail shows safe and effective).
Who may benefit from the BleachBright system?
Almost everyone will enjoy a benefit to the bleaching process if teeth and gums are healthy. Remember, teeth can not be bleached whiter than genetically possible. BleachBright products are not recommended under the age of 18 without parental permission.
I have a crown on my anterior or front teeth. Will your product whiten my crown?
BleachBright products will only whiten natural teeth
Will the gel and peroxide you offer be the same as from my family dentist?
Our partner in the whitening industry supplies a great deal of product to dentist offices throughout the nation. Our carbamide peroxide, although at legal limits at 10% H2o2, 30% Carbamide peroxide. Your family dentist will use a more powerful solution.
Is this procedure done by a dentist?

What causes discoloration?
Typically, discoloration comes from exposure to tea, coffee, smoking, juices, colas, wine, age, or just about anything that would stain a white tee shirt. This is why we highly recommend the KeepWhite Pen to stay bright.
Are there any side effects?
Some people may feel a little tingling sensation, white gum line, or sensitivity, all of which are normal and hold no real danger. Typically, this will only last for a couple of hours not to exceed 24 hours.
How long before I can eat or drink after my session?
The first 24 hours we would recommend to avoid coffee, tea, dark colored sodas, red wines, berries, candy, red sauces, beets, or any foods that have the propensity to discolor teeth. Remember if it leaves a tee shirt stained it will discolor your teeth.
Has BleachBright ever been litigated by a customer?
NO NEVER
What about the professional liability insurance?
BleachBright is self-administered; this is not dentistry. In terms of liability, it is equivalent to buying an over-the-counter product to do home whitening. Due to the fact that it is self-administered , there is less inherent liability. The customer applies the product, not the employee.
Does the product contain glycerin?
Yes, but it is synthetically manufactured so it is kosher.
Does the product contain any alcohol, and can I use the BleachBright products twice in a row?
No and No
What is used to help with sensitivity?
This will occur only in some customers; however, it does not last long. It has been known that vitamin E is a great pain reducer for sensitivity
What results should all customers expect?
All teeth are differnet due to body chemisty, genetics, dental health, and mineral imbalances thus only allowing same to only see a small difference while others it is not unusual to see 2 to 8 shade difference. As an overall result, 98% of your customers will be ecstatic.
